Team Design is an architecture and interior design practice based in Mumbai. Founded by Tasadduq Kher in 1996, the studio has spent thirty years shaping the built environment — from private homes and luxury residences to commercial offices, retail spaces, and large-scale institutional buildings across India.
Architecture and interiors are treated as a single discipline here. Every project — whether a family home in the Mumbai suburbs or a multi-storey commercial development in the city — is considered from structure to finish, with the same care given to how a space is experienced as to how it is built.
With over 300 completed projects spanning residential, commercial, and institutional work, Team Design brings the same rigour to every scale of commission, across Mumbai, Maharashtra, and beyond.
The work is varied by intent. A home in Mumbai and a campus in Lonavala demand different things, but both begin the same way — listening carefully, walking the site, asking the questions that shape every decision that follows.
The practice has been recognised across three decades for the breadth and rigour of its work — appearing on national lists of young architects shaping Indian practice, and in editorial features on materials, leadership, and contemporary residential design.

Tasadduq Kher
Tasadduq founded the practice in 1996, beginning his career under Architect P K Das as mentor. A former visiting professor at the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai for nearly a decade, he believes deeply that the quality of our surroundings affects the quality of our lives. His expertise spans acknowledged design talent, mentoring the design team, and demonstrated success across 30+ years of practice.
A process built
around your project.
Every project moves through five phases — from the first site visit to the final handover. Each phase has clear deliverables, a defined duration, and a specific ask of you as the client. The structure is the same whether we are designing a 1,200 sq ft apartment or a 50-acre institutional campus.
